Who is it Best for?

The Cap Barbell is best for those who are seeking top-quality power bars to help improve their core strength. It may come with a hefty price, but it still includes a couple of amazing features.

What Do People Say About it?

An Amazon customer named Kuangbao left a positive review for the product. He shares more of his experience with the Cap Barbell by saying, “I was very excited for this to arrive, the box was broken when it arrived which kind of makes sense since it’s heavy and can easily make holes in a box from any sudden movements probably throughout delivery. However, the bar was not damaged or scratched.”

However, he also shares a few downsides by saying, “The only problem is I can’t find any rubber plates now due to low stock everywhere. So I made my own for the time being with old tires which weigh 25lbs.”

On the other hand, an unsatisfied customer named Jeremy G wrote a negative review by only giving one star. He wrote, “This is my second 86B. The first one was flawless. Great bar, maybe the best… The second bar I ordered has a major problem. There are metal shards everywhere. I’ve been using it for a month now and my hands are filled with metal splinters. There is no easy or cost-effective way of returning it for a replacement.”

A YouTube channel named LiftingDad created a video reviewing the Cap Barbell after using it for four years. “I do think that there’s a great value that comes from this barbell,” he shares.

He also adds, “It is still, up to this day, a fantastic barbell.” In the video, he shows the markings on his barbell’s sleeves. He also shows the right collar that moves a little bit rough than the opposite side. He says that it is something that he needs to take a look at, but he doesn’t find it problematic in terms of lifting.

He also mentions one downside of the bar, which is the lack of center knurling. However, he resolved it by wrapping one layer of athletic tape around the center knurl.

The Verdict: Should I Try It?

One way to improve your core strength is to invest in an Olympic bar. The Cap Bar is a great option for those who are also looking for a new addition to their home gym.
